Kat Fowler is an international spiritual teacher, speaker and writer based in New York City. Through actualizing her passion for living the spiritual path, and sharing her love for holistic healing, eastern philosophy, western psychology, yoga and meditation, Kat inspires her students towards the discovery of their highest self.
Kat was born into a life of spirituality and meditation; her parents met in an ashram on their spiritual path. She learned meditation through her family's guru at age 14; while at college, she specialized in year-long course studies of Yoga Philosophy, Hindu Philosophy, Taoism, the Bhagavad Gita, Buddhist Studies, and Eastern Religions and started practicing yoga at age 19. Kat began teaching yoga and meditation at 21 and soon after traveled to India to study meditation in depth at age 22. Since then she has taken over 15 different training and certification programs; specializing in the eastern classical elements of yoga, physiology, anatomy, therapeutics and energy healing. In addition to her training in classical eastern yoga and meditation, Kat has additional studies in Ayurveda, Chinese medicine, psychology, holistic nutrition (including homeopathy,) aromatherapy, divination, crystal therapy and energy readings. Integrating her upbringing of spirituality and years of dedicated study and teaching, Kat's methodology when working with clients is educational, inspirational and informative. Her teaching and talks are always designed to reach students of all levels, as she believes spirituality should be available for everyone. Kat's teachings are rooted in the true embodied knowledge that comes from a lifetime of personal experience.
