While on assignment for The Friends of Barnabas Foundation, a vitamin c in dogs
medical outreach foundation in the remote areas of Honduras, Kat discovered her passion for humanitarian work, community outreach and all things Latin American.
Kat has spent many hours working as a creative activist, film-maker and artist, specifically with youth in the Americas. She mentored aspiring photojournalists and volunteers as an arts instructor, when she can, teaching classes to youth in the U.S., Caribbean and Central America. Kat's passion is working to preserve indigenous cultures and knowledge all over the world and she currently serves as a creative consultant for The Sager Family Foundation's micro-enterprise, women's initiative Hands Up Not Handouts. As an avid traveler, educator and profound supporter of cultural exchange, Kat continues to explore our world with her sketchbook and camera in tow. Her versatility allows her to capture any moment, anywhere.
Kat is currently based in Los Angeles and is available for assignments and creative consulting worldwide.
